This type of one hour revision of Edexcel GCSE Maths Paper – Non Calculator Questions is a bit of a change to the normal 3minutemaths posts! However, as I’ve been working with a number of extremely talented students during the past few years, I thought it would be a useful way of offering some focussed revision.
The Edexcel GCSE Maths Paper – Non Calculator Questions sample papers are all based on the 9-1 curriculum and, like all exams, it’s good to have a revision plan. These videos will enable you to stop, attempt each of the questions separately, and then compare your solution. If you work through each of the questions it should give you a good idea of the level of work required to gain marks – and the type of revision you should be doing on Edexcel GCSE maths paper 🙂
The main thing is not to panic! Just work slightly above your ‘level,’ take your time, don’t leave it until the last minute, take lots of notes, attempt similar questions, ask for help … blah, blah blah … you’ve heard all this stuff before.
I’m very aware there will be differences in calculation methods although, hopefully, your answers will be similar. Bear in mind that an examiner will only compare your answers against the mark scheme (which you can also download), so try to be as honest with your comparison as possible. There might also be occasions where my calculations are not easy to follow, so please do post a comment below and I’ll be happy to help.
