Two airplanes leave an airport.
Airplane A flies on a bearing of 075⁰ for 600km, and then lands.
Airplane B flies on a bearing of 135⁰ for 450km and then lands.
How far apart are the two aircraft when they land? (4 marks)
These videos are a quick reminder of cosine rule GCSE maths, and are aimed at around grade 7. Questions on the cosine rule appear frequently on GCSE papers, mainly towards Q20 onwards, and are usually calculator.

Cosine Rule questions can be fairly challenging, although once you have practiced, should be straightforward.
